Where on earth is it from?
The tropical mango tree (Mangifera indica) was first cultivated thousands of years ago in South Asia. To grow a mango tree, the climate must be tropical and frost free. There is mango production in North, Central and South America, but it is small. Cutting a mango can be tricky because of its seed. Mangos can be found from the Americas and the Caribbean to the Middle East and Asia.
